WELCOME TO THE DICE FAMILY COMMUNITY ON HOOSIER ROOTS
The Dice Community on HoosierRoots explores the ancestry of my great-great-grandmother, Elza Jane DICE (1845-1885). Elize, a life long resident of Fountain County, Indiana, appears to have descended from several German lines with surnames of GlASCOK, JACKSON, STONE, RECTOR, and FISHBACH. These families perhaps entered America in the late 1600's through early 1800's passing through Virgina and Kentucky on their way to Indiana.
Much of this information comes from the notes my aunt, Erma Ruth Jones Walker left to me, as well as a few published books which appear to be fairly well researched. I look forward to verifying and extending this research as time permits.
I hope this information helps you in your family history research and look forward to
hearing from my distant cousins; email me at
dice@hoosierroots.com.
To see my research on my other lines go to the
HoosierRoots home page.
